MELISSA D. Garner, M.S., is a Registered Mental Health Counselor Intern.   Melissa's warm and inviting personality compliments her calling to understand and help those who are in need.  She offers unconditional positive regard for her patients in hope of helping them find peace of mind.  She specializes in assisting people in a variety of needs such as exploring relationship problems, building positive parenting skills, exploring depression and anxiety issues, providing educational and vocational guidance, and offering life skills in goals of health, personal and spiritual growth, and overall well-being. The philosophy of Melissa's practice is founded on first, understanding the problem, next establishing goals toward recovery, and finally setting out to reach those goals. 

In each session with Melissa, you can expect warmth, professionalism, loyalty, conscientiousness, honesty, and initiative.  She offers compassionate and empathic listening, firm and candid understanding, as well as a solution focused counseling method.
